Windows 8 + VS 2012

description

Trynig to install application on Windows 8 with Visual Studion 2012 was unsuccessfull.
The error at the begining of installation process is:
 
The application requires that assembly Microsoft.TeamFoundation.VersionControl.Client version 10.0.0.0 be installed in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) first.

Yes, you're right. WBS Editor does not have immediate TFS 2012 support; you'll still need the VS 2010 DLLs installed to be able to use the WBS Editor. It's on my Todo list, but I simply haven't got around to it yet. Is additionally installing the TFS 2010 Team Explorer a valid workaround for you?

In our company we are using other tools instead of TFS. WBS Editor we are using as stand-alone application for project planing.
For us it would be nice feature to select on install time would programm work with TFS or not, if any.

For now I'll try to install TFS 2010 Team Explorer.
